I would like to compliment you on your taxidermy work done on the animals I took on my last trip to Africa. All six of the mounts are outstanding. Your work on the bushbuck, waterbuck, and springbuck are truly outstanding. Looking at the mounts brings back all the great memories of the trip. Mr. Oberholzer has a great advantage with his taxidermy, as he is also a professional hunter, and I have hunted with him. Maans knows how the animals look in the bush, how they appear when they are naturally in their surroundings. This shows in his taxidermy work, the animal can be made with the expression that he is looking right at you. I myself have been a hobby taxidermist, not to the level of skill Maans has, but I understand the artistic effort needed to make an animal’s face and eyes look real.
